BMW Group set for record year

BMW is on course for a record year in sales with May seeing new all time high figures. With MINI, Rolls Royce and BMW combined the group shifted almost 150,000 vehicles, a whopping 22.1% increase on last year.

I am not surprised at these results as everywhere you look lately you see new Mini's and BMW's and with the new 1 Series collection set to be released in September things will no doubt get even better.

Whilst new cars continue to sell strong the used car market seems to be stuck in a slump although cars with small engines and diesels are still in demand.

With fuel prices constantly rising along with inflation overall demand is weak with dealers having difficulty attracting enough buyers.

It's strange as a youngster you dream of owning a big car with power and pace, now that we are older its all about making driving easier on your bank account with a small economical car.

Hopefully with the release of the new 1 Series, used BMW Surrey will have some good deals on the older models so you can still have a bit of style despite the lack of power.
