Why don't our Vauxhall's look this good?

Now if I had the money I would trade in my used Focus and import one of these beasts in from Australia.

The Holden Commodore SS V-Series Redline Edition is what I would have to call my ultimate inner boy racer car. Under the hood of this mean machine is a 6.0L 90-degree OHV V8 with cross flow cylinder heads producing a tarmac tearing 362 BHP.

I have been to Australia on numerous occasions to visit family and have seen Commodores everywhere and have often wondered why we don't have them here in the UK. Obviously the SS V-Series is a top spec model and will cost you around £38,000 but there are cheaper models and with the amount of annoying Impreza's and Evo's that haunt our streets the Commodore would make a nice refreshing change.

Most people would probably disagree but one day when I have money to burn, maybe you'll see me rolling round the streets in a Commodore reliving my youth.
