World Superbikes Gearing Up For Silverstone!

Next weekend the World Superbikes makes its way to Silverstone and you can guarantee the riders and fans are already getting excited.

This year will see 6 British riders participating including BMW Motorrad Motorsport's Leon Haslam who is currently sitting in 5th in the championship standings and Aprilia Alitalia Racing Team rider Leon Camier who currently lies 3 points behind his fellow countryman.

Current championship leader Carlos Checa will be looking to extend his lead on his Ducati and spoil the party for the home riders and supporters as will popular Italian stallion Max Biaggi who currently sits in second needing a win to make up the points gap on the Spanish speedster.

Silverstone has always been popular with supporters and riders for its patriotic atmosphere and its open pacey track which will no doubt offer thrills, spills and plenty of overtaking so you can expect a bumper crowd fill the stands.
