From concept to reality-CX ASX

They share the same images of "Blue Kawasemi" The introduction of color, the new Mitsubishi ASX concept represents a market of the CX-Car Show, was presented at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, whose success has convinced the management to change MMC its real production machine.
More than about 20 cm (4.295 m against 4.11 m concept), slightly higher (+ 6.5 cm) and wider (+ 2 cm), and offers more vertical tailgate to create an optimal packing, Mitsubishi ASX Concept-hand anyway CX is the theme of basic design and its car-like non-slip position.

Suggested by the "Jet Fighter" grille open - a nod to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. F-2 fighter and now a brand of almost all vehicles Mitsubishi Motors Europe (Colt, Lancer and Outlander) - the car-like "attitude" was a key direction for Mitsubishi designers: not used for any commercial pressure to simulate an SUV look through heavy details (no need Pajero / Montero / Shogun and L200 within the range already. ..), have developed a vocabulary of less polarization Concept-cX is still strong, expressive and finely executed "door sports," with the appropriate range of substances.

2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV US Version

Based on the company over 35 years of commitment to the development of advanced electric vehicles, Mitsubishi Motors has unveiled its first production vehicle all-electric on the way to the North American market - Mitsubishi i.

Based on the popular gasoline-powered minicar Mitsubishi i in the Japanese market, this spacious and practical four-door 2012 model is the basis for the new battery to 100% with Mitsubishi i to the U.S. market. Zero tailpipe emissions Mitsubishi i will be the first production vehicle in North America to be powered by Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle (MiEV) technology - the peak power train engineering as a basis for future ultra-vehicles organic business. No more conventional systems of cars, including a gasoline engine, transport and fuel tank, having been replaced by advanced elements, including a system of lithium-ion battery, the electric motor and an efficient system battery charge in the i. any new Mitsubishi

This electric vehicle has already proved a viable and reliable transportation that Mitsubishi sold the car on the market since the summer of 2009, production has started in Europe-spec i-MiEV.

Mitsubishi provides an initial deployment of the Mitsubishi i to its dealer network in the American West (especially California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii) in November 2011, with entry into the North to follow in March 2012 and the availability nationally by the end of 2012. 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV Review

The Mitsubishi i (MiEV) 2012 is powered by innovative technology Mitsubishi Electric (MiEV) and also comes with the system for driving a rear-wheel drive vehicle that includes a 49 kW AC synchronous electric motor and 88 330V lithium battery cells that can 16kWh store above. In addition, this electric vehicle also comes with a reduction gear drive set as well. Electric motor vehicle is capable of producing a maximum torque of 145 lb-ft to the acceleration of the status quo and reach a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour.

Mitsubishi i-MiEV in 2012 appears to be an exciting new option that is eager to urbanities environmental awareness as it is possible that this car may be the first zero-emission vehicle, which went on sale. This seems to be a good way to kick off the Mitsubishi U.S. sales in difficulty and a picture.

The Mitsubishi i is certainly the most affordable pure electric car to be launched in the market. In fact, be offered at a cost of only $ 20, 490 for the standard ES and $ 22,490 for improvement.

Mitsubishi expects the initial availability of this electric car in California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii, in November 2011, the U.S. market in March 2012 and available nationally in December 2012.

The new generation of Mitsubishi's road to the North American market further differentiate itself from its European and Japanese versions-spec, with a revamped, more the body to provide comfort inside for four adults, with bumper Northern New American-spec and return to greater protection in a collision. Other important safety features for the North American car spec includes air bags that protect passengers and deployment force control, Active Stability Control (ASC) and a pressure monitoring system (TPMS) - all included in as standard equipment.

Easier on the Environment

Thanks to its all-electric propulsion system is extremely efficient, Mitsubishi i does not produce CO2 on the road, so it is a zero emission vehicle. Moreover, if one takes into account the CO2 emissions of power plants that generate electricity that powers the Mitsubishi i, this revolutionary production of Mitsubishi vehicles produces only about 30% of CO2 gasoline engine of 660 cc that powers of the non-electric-car of its domestic market. And the reduction of CO2 emissions becomes even more significant given that the gasoline engine of 660 cc is in the Japanese market is only one third of the movement of vehicles, four-cylinder gasoline engine at normal power Northern U.S..

Additional energy can be twisted to "i" model with the electric drivetrain Eco (economy) and modes of brake line to supplement the standard vehicle's Drive. Eco mode limits excessive consumption to the engine during braking mode increases the resistance of the braking (especially when running downhill) to feed more energy back into the bank of car batteries lithium-ion batteries.

Low Cost "Fuel" Source

Operating cost per mile of electric powered Mitsubishi i is significantly less expensive than a similar gasoline vehicle. In Japan, operating costs only 1 / 3, version 660cc gasoline, car expenses and operations could decrease even more strongly than her siblings internal combustion taking advantage of reduced power rates for recharge at night or during off-peak hours.

Intelligent Design = spacious accommodations, exceptional security

Thank you for the excellent packaging and technology related to its size, this car offers a unique style with a high level of security, ample space for four adults and handy compartments.

How a small car, possessing such a large volume inside? Mitsubishi engineers have cleverly put high-capacity lithium-ion batteries under the floor and the electric motor, an inverter and battery charger is located behind and below the rear passenger area. This configuration also has the advantage of lowering the center of gravity of the car. With the wheels located at the corner farthest from the vehicle, which gives Mitsubishi unusual stability with surprisingly agile handling.

Advanced Electric Powertrain

The power system consists of a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor and a high energy density lithium-ion battery, which consists of 88 cells (22 modules, 4 cells per module) for a maximum capacity of the Battery 16 kWh. The battery modules can be installed vertically or across the packaging flexibility allows them to be stored under the cabin floor. The 88 cells reside in a very robust stainless steel housing for maximum protection.

Mitsubishi I also have a battery system revolutionary three-way that allows the vehicle can be recharged using the built-in charger for home through sources, 110V (15A) or 220V (15A) or a system Quick Charge that uses a three phase supply 220V. The charging time of a completely full battery very low, about 8 hours at 220 V and 16 hours at 110V. The three-phase 220V fast charger can take a low battery on the height of a load of 80% in less than 30 minutes remarkably fast. Fasting three phase charger uses a point of sale is available on the driver side of the vehicle while on-board charger for the release of the home is located on the passenger side of the Mitsubishi i.

HISTORY

The first Pajero prototype was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 1973. The Pajero II prototype followed in 1978, five years later. Mitsubishi’s aim was to create more of a recreational vehicle, not just an SUV.

In January 1983, the first Pajero made its debut at the Paris Dakar Rally, taking first place in 1985 at only the third attempt. To date, the Pajero is the most successful vehicle in the Dakar Rally. This not only gave the Pajero an offroad reputation, but also helped in the sales

The Pajero is a true off-roader, and a legend in its own right. It received a massive revamp for 2007, with an all-new interior, and can be had in either three-door or five-door body styles. From 2010, powertrain options were either a 3.5-litre V6 mated to a 4-speed automatic, or a 3.8-litre V6 engine mated to a 5-speed auto. The standard package includes ActiveTrac four-wheel-drive with rear-wheel, full-time all-wheel and 4WD high and low range with locked centre differential. The short-wheelbase three-door Pajero holds five passengers, while the long-wheelbase model holds seven, with a third-row seat that can be folded into a well in the cargo area floor, or removed entirely. Standard features include an RV meter showing external temperature, time, date, compass, pressure, altitude and maintenance intervals. Also standard are a radio cassette player with 6 speakers, automatic a/c, front dual airbags, keyless entry, power windows and mirrors, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Higher models get a 6-disc CD changer, fake wood interior trim, sunroof, front and rear automatic a/c, traction control, ABS with EBD, cruise control, cool box, leather seats and 17-inch wheels. Only the top-level 3.8 models get side airbags as standard.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport

pajero sport

Using a Common Rail direct injection system for higher power and improved fuel efficiency, the Pajero Sport comes with a 2.5-liter diesel engine which delivers an impressive 136PS output at 3,500rpm and top-class torque of 314Nm at 2,000rpm.

Mitsubishi Motors has been at the forefront of developing the world’s most pioneering 4×4 technologies for over 70 years. The Pajero was launched in 1982 and even today the 4th generation Pajero continues to be the benchmark of 4×4 technology and refinement.

Pajero Sport has garnered immense response since global debut in Moscow last year. Over 9,000 units of Pajero Sport have been sold worldwide since last September. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia aims to sell 500 units of the fully imported Pajero Sport nationwide by the end of this year.

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X SE Revealed

 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X SE

In the simplest terms, the Evo X SE is a cross between a standard Evo X GSR and an upscale Evo X MR. Most importantly, the Evo X SE gets Mitsubishi’s fantastic TC-SST dual-clutch automated manual transmission with all three modes – Normal, Sport and Super-Sport. It’s mated to the standard 291-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and Mitsubishi’s Super All Wheel Control all-wheel drive system.

The Evo X SE retains the GSR nose, wheels and black side vents but picks up the MR Touring’s rear lip-spoiler and Bilstein shocks. Inside, it gets standard cloth Recaro seats and optional navigation to keep costs down.

What’s even more significant is the price. The Evo X SE starts at $36,445 (including the $745 destination charge), making it the cheapest way to get the top-shelf dual-clutch transmission on an Evo X. That starting price is about $2000 more than a base Evo X GSR and over $3000 cheaper than a base Evo X MR.

Top Luxury Cars - The Mitsubishi Lancer GS3

Mitsubishi Lancer GS3 1.8 not only brings out a gear in sporty driving dynamics but also many additional convenience and comfort features.

All the following features come as standard over the GS2. And there's still e 6-speed CVT automatic on petrol models available which will cost additional money.
Key features at a glance (compared to GS2):

*18" Alloy Wheels
*140 PS turbo-diesel engine
*Sports Suspension
*Climate Controlled Air Conditioning
*Cruise Control
*Front Strut Tower Bar
*Privacy Glass
*6-speed gearbox
*Stability & Traction Control
*Front Fog Lamps

To mention more, the sculpted dashboard and clear instruments look very good and there's also lots of space in the car for both passenger and stuff. It drives well enough, accurate and planted.

The 1.8 litre engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, despite that the motor's 141BHP gives very decent performance - 9.8sec to reach 62mph will be more than rapid for the Lancer's likely conservative clientele.

Because Mitsubishi Lancer GS3 1.8 takes less than 10 seconds to break 62mph. Apart from the newly added bigger alloy wheel, climate control, a bodykit, privacy glass as well as sportier, beefed-up suspension, GS3 includes all the kit from GS2.

It has no unruly behavior if you try the same with the ESP turned off-the cornering line tightens up nicely in response to a lifted throttle. Grip levels are very nice.

Other than it's image as a well-behaved, grown-up chassis, but it's not as lively to drive as the Ford Focus, and refinement over poor road surfaces is also noticeably bad.

The extra kit is certainly very attractive, but what it all does it to push prices up to a probably unattractive level. Just avoid the CVT transmission: it dents performance, fuel economy in addition to refinement.

All in all, Mitsubishi Lancer GS3 1.8 is the cheapest Lancer Sportback with standard climate control and curtain airbags. Both are hugely very welcome in something that could well be in a family car, and that makes this one of favorite versions of Mitsubishi Lancer Evo .

Top Luxury Cars - The New Mitsubishi Colt

There's something about the new Mitsubishi Colt that I can't quite put my finger on. It might be the baffling amount of interior space that seems to imply a tryst with the tardis, or perhaps it's the stunningly good looks of a car that is versatile enough to squeeze into even the most meager space. The handling is crisp and delightful even on longer journeys, and there's enough poke to get you from A to B with the minimum of fuss.

In fact, the only thing wrong with the Colt is the name. This isn't a colt, it's a miniature stallion. The new model is an advanced version of its predecessors, with more than enough individual features to set it apart as a new breed of Mitsubishi brilliance.

I bought a new Mitsubishi Colt on a whim, and whilst I probably shouldn't confess to that kind of spontaneity, I've never been one to dither over a purchase by weighing up every single factor before finding out that it's too late. I saw a Ralliart model that knocked my socks off, and after a few days of deliberation I decided to take the plunge and go for a test drive (I'm that sensible at least). It was an instant infatuation, and as I don't have to worry about accommodating a family it was the perfect choice for my personal situation.

I part exchanged my old super-mini, and the already attractive price was made even better by handing over the keys to my old car. Whilst it may not be ideal for everyone, the new Mitsubishi Colt really may well be the most super super-mini that I've driven to date. Whether I'm shopping, commuting to work or visiting far-flung friends, the Colt is an eager thoroughbred that never fails to deliver.

If you're looking for a new super-mini I highly recommend the Mitsubishi Colt, and you won't even need to check its teeth.
L Riley fell in love with the new Mitsubishi Colt, and is going to need a bigger garage at this rate.
