British chef Andy Bates has created the World's most expensive kebab which will cost you a whopping £750. So I can pretty much guarantee I won't be spilling one of these in the back of taxi on the way home from a night on the town.
Inside this gourmet kebab (does word's shouldn't never mix) you will find milk fed lamb from the Pyrenees, coeur de boeuf tomatoes, a chilli sauce created with scotch bonnet chillies, a mint sauce consisting of mint, cucumber and yoghurt, oh and yeah Krug Grande Cuvee champagne. It also contains saffron which for spice is outrageously expensive alongside olives, barrel aged feta and a garnish of gold leaf and platinum.
Andy created the 'delectable donor' for the launch of The Great Food Truck Race, a new programme which will broadcast on the Food Network UK Channel.
I've got this image in my head of Boris Johnson stumbling down Westminster tucking into one of these after a few too many jars.
