Here are the first official images of the MINI Coupe which has been promised to be the best handling MINI ever, which is a very bold statement indeed.
The 2 seater is given a lower centre of gravity plus a self raising rear spoiler which engages when the MINI goes over 50mph. The roof is set lower than the normal models but ample head room will still be available. Inside the classic MINI retro look is present with a 280 litre load bay providing more room than usual. This car really has a true unique look and may cause the Audi TT some sleepless nights!
Prices will start at £16,640 rising to £23,795 with the entry level model being the Cooper, packing a 1.6 litre 120bhp engine. At the top end will be the JCW which provides 208bhp via the addition of a turbo. Other models will include a Cooper S and a SD diesel.
The MINI Coupe will be on sale in October so we may see quite a few Audi cars for sale around the time of its release!
