Nissan LEAF joins forces with Green Lantern

Silver screen superstar Ryan Reynolds has joined forces with Japanese car giant Nissan to help promote the LEAF electric car.

The Green Lantern star personally owns and uses a Nissan LEAF and recently shunned the classic limo arrival to the Hollywood premiere of his DC comic based film opting to arrive in his own LEAF instead.

This new alligence ties in well with his latest film which see's him play test pilot Hal Jordan who his chosen to join a team of Universal guardians known as the Green Lantern Corps the help keep intergalactic peace and save earth.

Reynolds a genuine environmental activist said “For me, electric vehicles, like the Nissan LEAF, are not only representative of taking back the power, but also a significant statement about conscious ways of living,”

Ryan will surely help awareness of the environmental benefits of the LEAF and could lead to scores of young ladies and comic book fans heading to Nissan dealers to purchase one of these green machines.
