The new $37,995 SRT version (SRT, by the way, stands for "Street and Racing Technology") takes this 5-door to a whole new level: a 425-bhp hemi V-8 means that, according to the manufacturer, the Magnum SRT8 sprints to 60 mph in the low 5 second range, can run the quarter mile in the high 13 second range, and can pull off a 0-100 mph-0 run in around 16.5 seconds!

While the all-out acceleration is impressive, the car's handling and stopping abilities have also been stepped up. Thick anti-roll bars, stiffer springs and Bilstein shocks have been added, as have big 4-piston Brembo brakes, nesting inside the impressive 20-in. forged alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear F1 all-season rubber.

The Magnum SRT8's standard equipment package is impressive: AM/FM six-disc CD changer, body-hugging leather-clad front sports seats with suede inserts and a 180 mph speedometer.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office already gave us a very good idea of what to expect from the upcoming 2012 Dodge Durango/Magnum, but now Twitter has stepped up to the grainy, yet highly informative plate with an image from what appears to be the interior of a Chrysler plant.

The photo reveals the front three-quarters angle of a completely un-camouflaged Durango/Magnum, complete with blacked-out wheels and grille, hinting that this may have an appearance or performance package beyond the stock setup. But the really intriguing aspect isn't in the details: the overall shape and look of the new Magnum is, well, good.

That's a huge change from the current model, which looks a bit bloated and Ram-like. The new model is decidedly tighter, with sculpted curves and a front end that's vaguely Charger or Challenger-esque.

Beyond the looks, the new Magnum shares its platform with the new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so it's almost assured to be a capable performer both on-road and off. Power will likewise be similar to the Jeep's, including the 3.6-liter V-6 and 5.7-liter HEMI options--though the HEMI brand name is sure to make a front-line appearance with the Dodge.

The Caravan Sport maximizes interior cargo space while remembering all of the safety features that make the Caravan the most popular minivan in its class. For those who need a bit of additional space, the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan comes in five different models - the Grand Caravan SE, Grand Caravan eL, Grand Caravan eX, Grand Caravan ES, and Grand Caravan Sport. Each of these larger models comes standard with value leader with standard air conditioning and 7-passenger seating, and each offers a slightly more powerful engine for towing the extra load. Whichever Caravan you choose, you'll find all of the 2012 Dodge Caravan specs you can possibly want here at our Website. So enjoy.

The 2012 Dodge Caravan does so much more than get you from point A to point B. The 2.4-liter base four-cylinder engine runs at a heady 150 horsepower and 167 pound-feet of torque, and comes standard on both Caravan models. The 3.3-liter V-6 has 180 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque, and comes standard on most Grand Caravan Minivan models. Finally, at the top of the line, the 3.8-liter V-6 produces 215 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque, and is available with the Grand Caravan Sport and the Grand Caravan ES. Stay here for additional Dodge Caravan info, or to consult some expert Dodge Caravan reviews.

Dodge invented the minivan concept nearly 20 years ago to help families get more out of life. Two decades later, perhaps the greatest exterior feature of the 2012 Dodge Caravan is its power sliding door and/or liftgate. Both doors include an obstacle detection system that reverses direction when obstacles are detected either in the opening or closing directions of travel. Inside the Caravan, comforts abound as well, including swing-out cup holders on middle-row Quad-Command bucket seats that stay upright no matter if the seat is tilted up or back, wireless audio headsets and remote audio controls for rear-seat passengers, and an available DVD player with pop-down seven-inch screen. Most impressively, the Caravan offers a minivan-first available Three-Zone automatic Temperature Control. With features like these, buying a 2012 Dodge Caravan just makes sense.

And that's not even accounting for safety. The 2012 Dodge Caravan Minivan leads its class in safety features, including front seat belt pretensioners that remove up to 3.9 inches of slack before air bags are deployed, an optional four-wheel disc antilock brake system, and overall body structure that helps protect you in side-impact collisions with energy absorbing materials. Caravan received the government's five star side-impact rating in 2002, and Dodge experts say the 2012 model is even safer than its predecessor.

2012 Dodge Durango

2012 Dodge Durango
2012 Dodge Durango
Durango was not dead after Chrysler gave us a sneak peek of a very early mock-up. Now, while these shots prove Dodge will have an entry in the full-size SUV segment, we hear reports that the vehicle may ditch the Durango moniker, used since 1998. The new name will be attached to a unibody crossover that will grow in length and significantly drop in ride height, partially due to the loss of its body-on-frame construction.

With camouflage obstructing many of the updates, there isn’t much we can glean from these shots. But we expect this CUV to be riding on a lengthened version of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cheroke platform, which was developed alongside the next Mercedes-Benz ML. The front fascia will be distinctly different from that of the current Durango, with an even larger surface area including the notable presence of a hefty chin. Although the front-door length appears to be similar in size to, if not longer than, the current model’s, the rear doors are definitely stretched, as is the rear overhang, pointing to what we hope is a roomy third row.

As far as engines are concerned, expect to find the new corporate Pentastar V-6 underhood with some 280 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. A 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 will be available for power-hungry customers or those looking for added utility. An all-wheel-drive option is a given.

By the time this next Durango—or whatever it’s called—hits the market sometime in late 2011 or early 2012, the full-size crossover triplets of GM, including the Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia, should be due for a hearty freshening, while Ford’s next Explorer will also be out in crossover form. Even though Dodge will be late to the party, it is picking an opportune time to make an entrance.

The 2012 Dodge Challenger is the best car for you if your a Mopar Loyalist who craves a modern-day muscle car with the nestalga and throwback styling and marvel engineering. Furthermore, the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 6.4 -liter Hemi V-8 should retain ratings of 475 horsepower and 469 foot pounds of torque. The 2012 model should be available in both the 6-spd manual or five - speed automatic transmission. But thats not the big deal as you can see from the picture the 2012 Dodge Challenger Convertible in green is to die for. So start saving your money! Everyone should plan on getting one if they can find the means.

The look and search from the new 2012 dodge challenger srt8 is same goes with the predecessor but there’s additional stripe, new fresh paint color and new trim package. The neo-retro look still inspired the designer because the new dodge challenger launched around 2008. The very first type engine may be the base challenger SE V6 engine, second type is V8 powered R/T engine and also the third type may be the ultra effective SRT8 392 engine.

A redesigned Dodge Caliber compact car is near the top of the to-do list for the new Chrysler Group LLC and its Italian partner, Fiat Auto. The replacement, which may get a new name, is expected to start sale in calendar 2011 as an early 2012 model, timing that would make it the American automaker's first post-bankruptcy product to reach consumers. Despite dual design citizenship, the new compact will be produced at one of Chrysler's remaining plants in North America, though the choice is apparently not decided yet.

Various sources indicate the 2012 Dodge Caliber will be built on Fiat's C-Evo platform, a new architecture that can be varied somewhat in length and width to host a variety of "C-segment" vehicles, meaning compact cars and crossover SUVs of the same general size as the Ford Focus and new 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. Designed for both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, C-Evo gets its first outing with the 2011 Alfa Romeo Milano, a sporty 4-door hatchback from the Fiat-owned upscale brand famous for sports cars. The new Caliber will reportedly be sold only as a 4-door sedan, unlike Milano and today's Caliber, but we think a hatchback might be reinstated at some point to woo younger "active lifestyle" buyers attracted to the likes of the Kia Soul, Nissan Cube, and Scion xB. Whatever the body styles, all models should be front-wheel drive.

Styling for the 2012 Dodge Caliber will be fashioned by Chrysler designers in Auburn Hills, Michigan, though probably with input from Fiat's team in Turin. While earlier speculation had Dodge visuals being applied to the conservative Fiat Linea compact sedan (sold in Eastern Europe, South America, and the Middle East), we'd guess the reloaded Caliber will look more dynamic, with a slightly wedgy profile, crisp lower-body lines, and Dodge's signature "gunsight" grille. Interior design should also be unique despite using a number of Fiat-designed parts, and we'd guess materials quality will go up another notch from the upgraded 2010 Caliber cabin.

The 2012 Charger SRT8 gets a stouter rear axle with a 3.06 ratio to cope with the higher output of the 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine. The rumored eight speed transmission probably won’t appear in the 2012 model, so Allpar advises that the SRT8 will stick with a five-speed automatic transmission for now. The transmission includes a sport mode, although the specifics of programming and operation have yet to be revealed. The suspension gets active damping, with driver-selectable Auto and Sport modes.

On the inside, the driver benefits from a climate control system that includes dual zones, a pollen filter and a humidity sensor. The front and rear seats are heated, as is the steering wheel, and the front seats are also ventilated. Acoustic glass with a solar mitigating film is used all around, ensuring that the cockpit of the SRT8 is a cool, quiet place from which to terrorize other drivers at stoplights. Get tired of converting your rear tires into smoke, and you’re sure to enjoy the car’s 19-speaker, 900 watt audio system.

On the technology front, the 2012 Charger SRT8 gets knockback mitigation, which prepares the brakes for faster deployment based on readings from g-force sensors. Adaptive cruise control is available, and the system’s radar sensors also work to provide forward collision avoidance.

Look for pricing and package details to be released closer to the car’s launch later this year.

Venom GT is a mid-engined supercar incorporating the passenger-cell structure of the Lotus Exige within a bespoke space frame chassis designed specifically to accept modified versions of GM’s 6.2-liter LS9 V-8 engine. While the previous images of a matte-gray prototype made it tough to make out the Venom GT’s visage, the silver paint on car #01 shows off a menacing shape. It also reveals a surprising amount of actual Exige parts, including not just the cabin structure but also its headlamps, taillamps, doors, and be-snorkeled roof.

Venom GT’s proportions are wildly different from the Exige’s, stretching nearly 34 inches farther stem to stern, with a full nine inches of newfound width, too. The fenders have swollen into billowing pontoons and there’s a longer, more canted snout. Air ducts around the car have been enlarged to accommodate the GT’s substantially greater cooling and air-management requirements, and a huge, retractable rear wing has been added. An adjustable suspension can snug the Venom GT’s body 2.4 inches lower over the fat, 235/30 front and 335/30 rear Michelin PS2 rubber, which wrap around a stunning set of 20-inch rims. Still, from any angle, it’s tough not to think modified Exige first, true exotic second. Indeed, according to one of our staffers, looking at the Venom GT is “just like looking at an Exige, only through a fisheye lens.

Venom GT packing the twin-turbocharged LS9 is roughly 700 pounds heavier than an Exige (the 725-hp supercharged version saves 42 pounds versus the turbo car). Hennessey had hoped to bring it in with a curb weight of 2400 pounds, but, honestly, what’s a few hundred pounds when you’re bombin’ around with two to three times the horsepower of a BMW M3 and a power-to-weight ratio of an unfathomably low 2.2 pounds per horsepower? Indeed, a Venom GT with a Suburban strapped to its roof could probably out-accelerate most sports cars.

Hennessey estimates that the 1030-hp car should be able to hit 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, and then double that velocity within 7.0 seconds. While top-speed testing has yet to be completed, Hennessey tells us that its computer models predict the ability to reach 262 mph, which would render it one of the fastest “production” cars ever. Venom GT #01 could be even faster, ordered as it was in the so-called “top-tier” 1200-hp twin-turbo trim, which produces 1135 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey plans to verify its claims sometime next year, we are told.

Venom GT bit Hennessey chose not to divulge until now is the price, which starts at $725,000 for the supercharged model, $850,000 for the 1030-hp twin-turbo version, and a cool million if you want all 1200 ponies. Of course that includes an individually tailored interior, a two-year/24,000-mile warranty, and, presumably, a sound system better than the crappy one found in the Exige.
